Spice prices in Bangladesh’s Khulna and Paikgachha markets rose sharply ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. Cardamom prices increased to BDT 4,600-5,500/kg, while cloves traded at BDT 1,800-2,000/kg. Cumin prices rose to BDT 700-800/kg and cinnamon reached BDT 550-600/kg. Traders said active household and food business buying tightened spot market sentiment. Indian traders noted that stronger Bangladesh demand may support trade and prices in India.
