Bangladesh: Bulk ferrous scrap imports drop nearly 60% m-o-m in Nov’22

Bangladesh’s bulk ferrous scrap imports fell sharply by 58% to 243,697 t in Nov’22 compared to 581,094 t in Oct’22, as per customs data.
The Netherlands was the top exporter at 70,408 t, followed by USA and Australia at 61,245 t and 60,681 t, respectively.
Bulk scrap imports by the country saw a whopping rise of 58% y-o-y to 3.61 mnt in Jan-Oct’22.
