Bangladesh bulk ferrous scrap imports climb 55% in October

Bangladesh bulk ferrous scrap imports moved up by 55% on monthly basis and stood at 525,500 t in Oct’20, as per vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint. Imports from USA were up by 39% and Japan by 82% m-o-m. Finished steel demand has recovered after rainy season resulting in active bookings for bulk scrap cargoes for Oct’20 deliveries.
