Bangladesh-based mills keep re-bar offers unchanged on weak sales

Major steel mills in Bangladesh have kept their re-bar offers unchanged at BDT 72,000-73,000/t ($844-855) exy-Chittagong, SteelMint learnt from sources.
Mills have kept offers unchanged due to liquidity crunch in the market as well as the ongoing monsoon which has dampened demand.
It is expected that momentum would return to the market from mid-Sept’21 onwards.
