Baltic dry index inches up d-o-d on Supramax rise

The Baltic Dry Index inched up by 0.1% (1 point) d-o-d to 1,762 points on 23 Jan, driven by stronger Supramax rates, which offset the declines in Capesize and Panamax. • Capesize: BCI dropped 0.23% (6 points) to 2,583.
  • Panamax: BPI fell by 0.12% (2 points) to 1,612.
  • Supramax: BSI rises 0.69% (7 points) to 1,026.
