Shri Bajrang Power and Ispat Ltd, one of the renowned manufacturer of re-bar (Goel TMT) in Central India, which had completed a 1.2 mtpa pellet plant in Raipur earlier this month, has started offering its pellet for merchant sales, according to sources who have received offers.
It is the largest pellet producing plant in the state of Chattisgarh. Sources inform SteelMint that current offers for pellets are at around Rs 8,300-8,400/t Ex Works Raipur.
“There are offers for iron pellets from Bajrang Power. It is around Rs 8,400-8,500/t (Basic, Ex works Raipur) for Fe 64/63%. Offers from other companies are in the range of Rs 8,200-8,300/t (Basic, Ex works Raipur).” said a sponge manufacturer based in Raipur, who received the offer.
