Auto part producers in north India receive higher bids w-o-w at scrap auctions

Automobile component producers based in north India conducted around 300 t of CR busheling scrap auction on 14 Jan’21. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 41,200/t exw. Besides, auto part end-cutting material received bids at INR 39,000-39,300/t exw, while another auction for the same material from Rohtak, Haryana received bids at INR 39,100/t exw. A slight improvement in trading sentiment for semis resulted in marginally higher bids over last week.
