Induction furnace-route rebar prices decreased by INR 300/t to INR 51,600/t exw-Raipur as demand softened in the spot market following a slight correction in raw material prices. Only 1,050 t of deals were recorded today. The conversion spread from steel billet (100 mm) to rebar (10-25mm) currently stands at INR 3,500-3,800/t in Raipur.
