Australian coking coal prices fell on 30 May’22. Premium hard coking coal FOB prices fell $9/t d-o-d to $456/t. Prices fell amid downward pressure in the market due to declining steel prices. Met coal prices have fallen by $60/t over the last week but buying interest has not improved. Indian buyers are on the look out for competitive Chinese met coke offers due to pricey Australian prime coking coal.
