Australian premium hard coking coal price rose by $3.50/t to $139/t FoB yesterday following a higher-priced deal concluded for 75,000 t of an April laycan mid-vol cargo. However, Australian coking coal prices are largely anticipated to remain at lower levels until the Chinese import ban on Australian coals is lifted.
