Spot prices for coking coal in Asia remain unchanged due to
slow trading activities ahead of Lunar New Year holidays.
Spot market for Premium Low volume grade is stable and is
available at around $174 FOB Australia converting to $189 CFR India, however 64
Mid Volume material is at around $158 FOB. Freight from Australia to Indian
ports is at around $15 on Panamax basis.
Supply of vessels is expected to remain firm despite Blackwater
railroad to reopen by the end of this week a source said, whereas another
source said that supply might reach to normal condition in a couple of weeks.
