Australian premium hard coking coal prices slid $6/t d-o-d to $313/t FOB and $331/t CNF on 10 Nov’22. A deal of 40,000 t was concluded at $313/t FOB on 10 Nov for 11-20 Dec laycan co-loaded with another 40,000 t. Prices declined due to lower buying interest amid sluggish global steel demand. Also, cheaper Chinese met coke availability put pressure on coking coal prices.
