Australian premium low-volatile (PLV) hard coking coal (HCC) prices remained unchanged at $167/t, FoB, as market participants retreated to the sidelines following the issuance of a buy tender seeking Australian PLV HCC and PCI coal. At this juncture, the short-term price trend remains unclear until the tender concludes, expectedly in mid-Jun’21.
