Australian coking coal prices fall sharply as demand weakens further

Australian premium low-volatile hard coking coal prices have fallen by $27/t since the beginning of the week to $372/t FOB. Market participants expect prices to fall further in line with the sharp downward correction in China-delivered prices. Premium seaborne coking coal CFR China prices have crashed by $100/t on the week, which is exerting pressure on the FOB Australia market.
