Australian premium hard coking coal prices increased by $3/t d-o-d to $287/t FOB as on 14 Oct’22. A bid of $285/t was heard for 75,000 t of premium HCC for 21-30 Nov laycan on globalCOAL. The supply tightness due to wet weather in Australia and talks of potential strike by Australian mine workers over working conditions and job security is supporting spot prices.
