After rising slightly during mid-September, Australian weekly coal exports fell 12% w-o-w to 5.6 mnt during 25 Sep-1 Oct’22, CoalMint data shows. The decline in shipments came amid wet weather and the slowdown in operations post-maintenance shutdown during 10-13 Sep. Exports are under pressure as the Australian Weather Bureau has forecast a wet start to October following above-average rainfall in September.
