Australia: South32’s coking coal production rises over 40%, q-o-q, in Jan-Mar’22

Mining major South32’s coking coal production increased by 42%, q-o-q, in Jan-Mar’22 to 1.57 mnt, while production remained unchanged y-o-y. Production increased compared with the last quarter due to improved availability of labour and completion of an extended longwall construction at its Dendrobium underground mine in Illawarra, Australia.
