Major manganese miner South32 raised its manganese ore (Mn 45%) offers by $1.8/dmtu (dry metric tonne per unit), m-o-m, to USD 8.2/dmtu CIF China. Prices were hiked amidst the rapidly declining manganese ore port stocks in China and high domestic prices. South32 has offered only a limited volume which is expected to be sold out soon as Chinese traders start restocking.
