Australia: Rio Tinto posts 4% rise in bauxite production in Q2CY22

Rio Tinto Group, an Anglo-Australian company, has posted a 4% q-o-q rise in bauxite production at 14.1 mnt in Q2CY22. Total bauxite production in the first half of CY22 stood at 27.8 mnt.
The company’s aluminium output in Q2CY22 stood at 731,000 t, shrinking by 10% y-o-y from Q2CY21. Total aluminium production in H1CY22 amounted to 1.467 mnt.
