Australia reduces its forecast for price of iron ore

Australia reduced its iron ore price outlook as a result of lower demand amid global economic concerns and rising domestic exports. Iron ore price may reach $115/t at the end of CY’22, $85/t in CY’23, and $75/t in CY’24. Global steel demand is still falling because the reduction in Europe and other nations’ demand countered the drop in supplies from Russia and Ukraine.
