Australia: Port Hedland achieves monthly iron ore exports of 46.5 mn t in Dec ’20

Australia’s biggest port – Port Hedland has achieved a monthly throughput of 47.3 mn t in the month of Dec, of which iron ore exports were 46.5 mn t. It was a 1% y-o-y decrease as compared to Dec’19. Total monthly throughput from Pilbara Ports Authority totaled 64.5 mn t in Dec’20. The Pilbara Port Authority has three main ports – Port Ashburton, Port of Dampier and Port of Port Hedland.
