Australia: PCI coal prices rise by $30/t, d-o-d, as EU bans Russian coal imports

Australian low-volatile pulverised coal injection (PCI) coal prices have increased up by $30/t d-o-d to $383/t FOB. PCI prices are surging amid strong demand from Europe for weaker grades of Australian coking coals following the decision to ban Russian coal imports by the European Union. However, Australian premium hard coking coal prices remained rangebound at $383/t FOB Australia.
