Australia: NSW to reserve 10% of coal output for domestic use

The New South Wales government in Australia has asked coal producers to reserve up to 10% of their output for domestic use. The new reservation policy will impact exporters and may cut down coal from the seaborne market. In December last year, the government had put a cap on domestic coal prices at $125/t to lower electricity prices.
