According to the provisional data maintained with SteelMint the iron ore exports from Australia, the world’s largest exporter of iron ore, have exported 70.4 MnT material in Aug’17. Compared with the quantity of 67.6 MnT in Jul’17, it was up 4% in Aug’17.
China-The largest importer China with 59.5 MnT have imported 84% share of total exported iron ore from Australia in Aug’17,the Chinese iron ore imports from Australia were up by 10% compared to Jul’17.
Japan– Japan imported 7% material with the quantity of 4.9 MnT in Aug’17 from Australia, down 32% compared to Jul.
