According to the provisional data maintained with SteelMint the iron ore, Australia, world’s largest exporter of iron ore have exported 68.9 MnT material in Mar’17.
China-The largest importer China with 55.2 MnT have imported more than 80% share of total exported iron ore from Australia.
Japan-Japan imported 9.7% material with the quantity of 6.7 MnT in Mar’17 from Australia.
Other countries that have reduced the import for the month from Australia are Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Great Britain.

Port- Port Hedland exported maximum quantity with 56.5% material at 38.9 MnT material in Mar’17. Port Geraldton exported 23% at 15.9 MnT material for the month.
