According to the provisional data maintained with SteelMint the iron ore exports from Australia, world’s largest exporter of iron ore have exported 67.6 MnT material in Apr’17. Compared with the quantity of 68.9 MnT last month it was down 2% for Apr’17.
China-The largest importer China with 54.2 MnT have imported more than 80% share of total exported iron ore from Australia, however the Chinese iron ore imports from Australia were down by 2% compared to Mar’17. 
Japan-Japan imported 10.4% material with the quantity of 7 MnT in Apr’17 from Australia which was up 5% compared to last month.
Other countries that have reduced the import for the month from Australia are Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Great Britain. Hong Kong imported

Port- Port Hedland exported maximum quantity with 59.7% material at 40.3 MnT material in Apr’17. Port Walcott exported 23% at 15.5 MnT material for the month.
