Australia’s Fortescue Metals Group has recorded iron ore shipment of 42.3 mn t in Q1 CY’21, stable against the CPLY. The iron ore yearly shipments guidance has been laid at 178-182 mn t. Despite the impacts of significant rainfall across Fortescue’s Pilbara operations, the commissioning of Eliwana mines has contributed towards the increase of iron ore mining and processing.
