Australia: Coal loading at Newcastle port to be affected for maintenance shutdown

Coal loading at the New South Wales’ (NSW’s) Port of Newcastle is likely to be disrupted during 10-13 Sept’22 as Australian Rail Track (ARTC) will carry out a maintenance shutdown at the Hunter Valley rail network. This unplanned shutdown is announced to carry out the pending maintenance work at ports following major floods in July. The next maintenance shutdown is scheduled for 5-7 Oct’22.
