BHP Group’s iron ore production from the Western Australia iron ore (WAIO) operations was recorded at 70.6 mn t in Q3 CY’21, a decrease of 5%, y-o-y. Planned maintenance during the quarter and temporary railway labour shortage due to Covid-19 affected production. BHP’s output guidance for FY’22 remains unchanged at 278-288 mn t on a 100% basis.
