Australia: BHP lowers coking coal guidance for FY’22

Australia-headquartered global mining major BHP Billiton has lowered its FY’22 (Jul’21-Jun’22) production guidance for coking coal to 38-41 Mn t from the previous target of 39-44 mn t in its recently released Dec’21 quarter results report. The guidance correction comes amid supply disruptions due to wet weather as well as labour availability issues as a result of the spread of COVID-19.
