Deliveries along Australia’s Blackwater Line were temporarily suspended on 18 Jun’21 following an accident in the rail route that is used for transporting coal. The Blackwater Coal Rail System links several mines in Bowen Basin (major producer of coking coal) to two export terminals at the Port of Gladstone. The timeframe for resumption of rail services and impact on transportation and deliveries remain unclear as of now.
