A September loading Panamax vessel of Australian 5100 kcal/kg NAR grade coal has been booked at $120/t FOB Newcastle. With low volatile matter, the grade has an ash content of 22%. Australian thermal coal exports to India have remained higher at 0.7 mnt in Jul’22. Several power units located in the coastal belt procure Australian coal for power generation.
