Arya Iron & Steel, one of the largest merchant pellet manufacturers in Barbil, eastern India with an annual capacity of 1.2 MnT has raised pellet offers by INR 200/MT.
Trade sources shared that pellet maker has raised offers for Fe 63% pellets to INR 4,600/MT (loaded to wagons) against previous assessment of INR 4,400/MT (loaded to wagons).
Domestic pellet prices have strengthened this week amid increase in P-DRI prices and improved pellet trade activities. In this week, Indian pellet prices have reported a hike of up to INR 400/MT W-o-W.
P-DRI prices in eastern India have moved up by INR 1,000/MT W-o-W. P-DRI (78 FeM) prices in Durgapur are presently assessed at INR 15,450/MT (delivered).
