ArcelorMittal expects steel production to fall by 1.5 mnt y-o-y in Europe in Q4CY22 as its production facilities in France, Germany, Poland and Spain are either suspended or being renovated. The European steel industry is suffering from soaring energy prices due to decrease in gas supply from Russia. In addition, it is also facing dull demand from the automotive sector.
