ArcelorMittal will invest INR 20,000 cr on capacity enhancement in terms of land availability and captive port and railway infrastructure in Gujarat, group chief Lakshmi Mittal said during an interaction with Gujarat’s CM. An additional INR 5,000 cr investment has been earmarked for expanding now AMNS – formerly Essar – steel plant’s capacity to 8.6 mn t per annum.
