The Anthracite Coal market in India has continued to bear a sluggish atmosphere; without any sign of improvement in the demand in the future.
On the other hand, there was no moderation in the offers, mainly due to the prices of Breeze Coke remaining at high rates. As a matter of fact, prices of the coal and Breeze Coke are co-related as both could be used in substitution of the other.
According to the latest assessment, the export offers for Anthracite Coal are at around USD 135/MT FoB, which translates into around USD 147/MT on CFR India basis.
