The Anthracite Coal market in India has remained lackluster in the absence of demand. And there is also no prospect for any upturn in the demand in the future.
On the pricing front, there was no downturn in the international offers for the coal due to the strong international demand.
The latest offers are assessed at around USD 135/MT FoB, which translates into around USD 147/MT CFR India, which have undergone no change from that in the week last.

It is due to the sluggish demand; imports of the coal have remained insignificant. According to the data compiled by CoalMint Research, around 76,710 MT of the coal was imported in India during 1-11Apr’18 period.
