There was no change in the international offers for Anthracite Coal during the recent past. At the same time, the market in India also saw no improvement in the demand, which remained lackluster in the usual manner.
Anthracite coal buyers in India do not prefer using the coal but prefer using alternate fuels, resulting in the prevalence of a sluggish market in the country. Indications also point out at the absence of any prospect of the demand to improve in India in the future.
The latest international offers for Anthracite Coal are assessed at around USD 145/MT CFR India, unchanged from the week-ago offers.
