There has been no major activity in the Indian Anthracite Coal market, with almost no affinity among user-industries to use the fuel.
The latest offer for Anthracite Coal is, however, assessed at around USD 125/MT CFR India, which is somewhat higher than that assessed the week last.

In the international circuit, the Energy Minister of Ukraine will soon travel to the US to hold talks for the supply of Anthracite Coal by USA to Ukraine. Around 2.5-3 MnT of Anthracite Coal is expected to be imported by Ukraine from USA.
IMPORTS
The sluggish market atmosphere in India has kept Anthracite Coal imports at bay. During the 1-14Jun’17 period, only one Anthracite Coal consignment of 44,000 MT had entered into the country, according the data collected by CoalMint Research. The consignment was imported by Essar from Russia, the CoalMint data also shows.
