In India, the demand continues to be lackluster as the users prefer alternate fuels. Due to the almost nil affinity for Anthracite Coal in India, imports of the coal have been insignificant.
During the current month, only one import consignment of 82,500 MT of Anthracite Coal was imported in India, according to the data collected by CoalMint Research. The consignment was imported by JSW Steel.
