Anglo American’s copper output falls 6%, nickel down 4% y-o-y in Q3CY22

Anglo American’s copper production decreased by 6% y-o-y to 147,000 t in Q3CY22 from 157,000 t in Q3CY21. Output fell due to planned lower grades at all its operations in Chile, as well as unfavourable ore characteristics at Los Bronces.
Nickel output was recorded at 10,000 t, down 4% y-o-y as against 10,400 t in Q3CY21 primarily due to lower grades.
