AM/NS India posted improved steel sales figures in Q1 CY’22 at 1.732 mnt. In the preceding quarter the same was 1.731 mnt, while in Q1 CY’21 it stood around 1.700 mnt. Increased exports to the European and Middle East markets during the quarter amidst higher sales realisations helped improve shipment volumes.
