Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has posted marginal rise of 1% in crude steel production to 1.984 mnt in Q1CY24 against 1.964 mnt in Q1. Production was 12% higher y-o-y compared with 1.765 mnt in Q1CY23. The company’s steel shipments rose by 8% q-o-q to 2.016 mnt in Q1CY24, while the same rose by 10% y-o-y from 1.830 mnt in the CPLY.
