AM/NS India’s crude steel production falls nearly 12% y-o-y in Q3CY’22

ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has reported crude steel production at 1.7 million tonnes (mnt) in Q3CY’22, down 12% y-o-y against 1.9 mnt in the same period last year. However, steel shipments rose by 6% at 1.6 mnt q-o-q as against 1.5 mnt in Q2CY’22 but the same fell by 12% y-o-y as against 1.8 mnt in Q3CY’21.
