ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has recorded crude steel production at 1.8 mn t in Q1 CY ’21, a decrease by 5.2% q-o-q against 1.9 mn t in Q4 CY ’20. Further, they have plans to debottleneck operations (steel shop and rolling parts) and achieve a capacity of 8.6 mn t pa and medium-term plans to expand and grow to 14 mn t pa in the coming years.
