Integrated steel producer AM/NS India has announced a steep hike in HRC and CRC prices by around INR 2,000-3,000/t ($27-41) for June ’21 deliveries.
The list price for HRC stands at INR 70,000-70,500/t ($960-967), while for CRC it is at INR 85,000-85,500/t ($1,166-1,173). Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, without GST @18% being factored in.
An increase in export orders has resulted in a supply crunch in the domestic market triggering a hike in prices.
