Alang’s (Gujarat) ship-breaking prices rose by INR 1,500/t, hitting an all time high. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 50,000/t, while attachment prices are at INR 51,000/t exy. Scrap prices increased due to rise in semi-finished steel prices in key markets of north and central region in yesterday’s session.
