Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market declined by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 35,200/t ($368/t) ex-yard on 3 Jun’26, according to BigMint’s assessment. The correction was driven by a mild downturn in semi-finished and finished steel prices in the previous trading session, while average trading activity in the scrap market prompted suppliers to keep their offers in the same range.
