Active demand lifts Raipur sponge iron prices

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur rose by INR 200/t to INR 33,500/t exw.
About 2,200 t of FeM 80% P-DRI deals were reported at INR 33,400-33,500/t on exw and DAP, while around 2,600 t of FeM 78% P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,000-33,100/t on DAP Raipur basis.
Prices moved up on slight supply tightness in the market along with sufficient orders with suppliers and rising coal and pellet prices.
