Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) also known as Vizag Steel has invited tender for export of 15,000 MT blooms (150*150 mm, IS 2830 C20 MMN GR A) for October end shipment.
Due date for bid submission is 11:00 am IST on 27 Sept’17. And bidders can keep their bids valid till 05 Oct’17.
Export tender for bloom have specifications – C – 0.17-0.23%, Mn – 0.6-1%, Si – 0.15-0.35% max, P – 0.045% max and S – 0.05% max of length 12 meters.
Company’s last export tender for 20,000 MT bloom (150*150 mm) got expired on 06 Sept’17. As per reports received from market sources, the company has managed to close the tender at USD 515/MT, FoB India.
Vizag Steel’s export tender to Nepal
The company has floated export tender for 5,504 MT billets and 5,504 MT wire rod coils to Nepal for end October delivery. Due date for bid submission is 03 Oct’17.

Company’s previous tender for export of billets & wire rod to Nepal was due on 13 Sept’17. As per market sources report, the billet tender was concluded at around USD 480-490/MT (ex-mill) and wire rod tender was concluded at around USD 520-525/MT (ex-mill).
